I have been calling on customers in the Pacific Northwest since 1978 when I started in the industry as an Assistant to the Sales Manager for Lang Manufacturing located in Redmond, Washington. Had the pleasure to work alongside Howard Lang experiencing time in engineering, marketing and outside sales.  The last couple of years with Lang, traveled the country specializing in Marine Cooking Equipment opportunities.  In 1983, started Schulz Associates. Today, I oversee daily operations primarily covering the Western Washington territory while supporting our entire outside sales team.

I assist the outside sales team by providing consultants, specifiers, and design dealers with budget prices, drawings, and literature. Reviewing consultant specs and drawings to create quotes for dealers and working with engineered line factories to get quotes for their products. Coordinating equipment lead times, helping to resolve freight damaged equipment and equipment installation issues when necessary. ​

Graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Recreation/Exercise Science and worked in recreation departments and athletic club operations management for 10 years. Began working inside sales/customer service at Schulz Associates in 1996, and now also assist and support the entire team.

I began my food service career in 1982 as a factory representative for Traulsen & Co. in southern California. After six years with Traulsen, I founded KLH Marketing, Inc., a food service rep group based in Anaheim. My partners and I grew KLH over the next 25 years to become one of the premier rep groups in the country. I was responsible for management of the company along with specific sales relationship development with key dealer and consultant accounts in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.​

After retirement from KLH in 2011, My wife, Janis and I moved to Eagle, Idaho. In 2015, joined Schulz Associates and today I cover the Southern Idaho and Eastern Oregon territories, working closely with dealers and end-users in restaurants, schools, hospitals, business and industry, correctional facilities and casinos. From full-scale design/build projects to simple equipment replacement, I can assist with all food service equipment needs.

In 2019, I joined the Schulz Associates Team as Administrative Assistant. The core responsibilities of the position are monthly commission reconciliation, data reporting, marketing/social media, payroll as well as assisting with hiring and areas of Human Resources.​

​I graduated from Washington State University in 2008, majoring in Sport Management with a minor in Communication and Human Development. From 2009-2016, I had the pleasure of working for the City of Kirkland Park and Community Services as Recreation Coordinator and I was promoted to Recreation Supervisor in 2016-2018. The core responsibilities of these positions included recruiting, hiring, training and managing hundreds of seasonal staff and full-time employees, recreation program creation and implementation, managing programs area budgets, overseeing facilities and contracts, program registration and marketing.
